Bella: beautiful

Recently, I have found that I have a huge obsession with huskies. For my birthday I decided to buy myself a three month old German Shepherd-Husky. As quickly as I fell in love with her I also learned what it was going to feel like being a parent one day. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Bella. She's my entire world. She is almost nine months old. Although I've had to do a lot of cleaning up and buying new replacements for everything she tore up when she was younger, I will never deny that Bella is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She is not only my baby girl; she is my best friend. I love watching her reactions when she knows who I am. She has my car memorized and watches me as I turn out onto the road when I'm leaving and knows when I'm arriving at home. She'll follow my car until I park and stare at me until I go say hi to her before I got inside. She gets extremely protective of me when it comes to me being with other people. She'll get so jealous if I'm paying more attention to the people I'm with than her. It's the cutest thing in the world. A couple weeks ago she got her "big girl bark" and I almost cried. It's so exciting to watch someone grow up, but it's the scariest thing in the world knowing that one day they're going to be all grown up and leave you. I guess Bella is preparing me for when the time comes that I do get married and have kids. I pray to God that she gets to experience it all with me. I don't know what I would do without her by my side.
