"I've been moving mountains that I once had to climb"

A few months ago I was introduced to a band called Neck Deep. In August, they came out with a new album. I haven't stopped listening to it. One of my favorite songs by them is called Gold Steps. I love it because it's such an encouraging song.

Now, if you know me then you know that my life has literally been filled with struggles. Sometimes, I feel like it's literally just a life full of unfortunate events. I've had to suffer more losses than I can count on my fingers. My health has been awful. However, I've always been able to overcome my misfortune. About a week ago I got a tattoo on my ribs that says "Still I Rise" and the 't' is a cross. I got it as a reminder that no matter what life throws at me, I will still rise when i get knocked down.

Gold Steps is like a more in depth version of my tattoo. It's so inspiring. When I first heard the lyrics, "I've been moving mountains that I once had to climb" it really set me back. It made me think about everything that has gone on in my life and I realized that I really am moving mountains now that I once had to climb. Although my life has been a real struggle I'm honestly glad that I've had to struggle. It has made me so strong. I would never wish for a different life or for life to be easier on me because then I might not be who I am. I might not have the passion I do to help others or move forward when things get hard.

You should all go listen to Gold Steps by Neck Deep. You'll love it. I promise you.
